The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI)’s foreign exchange sales rose to $ 157.56 million on Thursday, compared with $ 148.41 million on Wednesday, an increase of $ 9.15 million.
The Central Bank, in a statement received “Trend Press” a copy of it, the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 37 banks, and 3 companies for financial transfer.
The total sales for the day were $ 197.46 million, the bank said.
Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad were $ 156.48 million, while cash sales were estimated at $ 1.08 million.
The Central Bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at a price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the sale of cash will be at the same price.
