The draw for the AFC Asian Cup 2018 Asian Championships will be held at the Armani Hotel at Burj Khalifa in the United Arab Emirates on Friday, with the participation of 24 teams representing the continent, which will be represented by national team coach Basem Kassem and managing director Basil Kurkis.
The AFC has announced the classification of the teams participating in the tournament, which will be added by the UAE for the period from January 5 to February 1 next year, where the teams divided into four levels and as follows:
– Level I: UAE, Iran, Australia, Japan, Korea South, Saudi Arabia
– Level 2: China, Syria, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Qatar, Thailand
– Third level: Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Palestine, Oman, India, Vietnam.
– Level 4: North Korea, Philippines, Bahrain, Jordan, Yemen, Turkmenistan.
As is known, each team will be selected from the four levels during the draw. The teams will be divided into six groups with four teams. The first and second places in each group will qualify, with the top four teams finishing third to the last 16.
